Back in 2006, our CEO Ahmed Elgibaly’s wife was losing her hair and no matter what she tried in terms of supplements, creams, potions and lotions it never seemed to work. Ahmed realized that all the products available were focusing on the problem after it had happened, but very few products addressed the root causes of hair loss and skin irritations. After having spent a lot of time researching and discussing with many experts within their field, Blu was born in 2012 with the idea to create intelligent health solutions that will improve the lives and well-being of people everywhere with an affordable yet effective product that addresses health problems at the root cause specifically hair and skin issues

The duo embarks on an exciting quest, exploring eco-friendly solutions. It’s a wild ride that lays the groundwork for groundbreaking health products! After 2 years of extensive R&D they came up with the first blu Ionic Shower filter Prototype!

The blu Ionic Shower Filter officially hits the market, offering healthier, water-saving showers. The first office opens in Egypt.
